Brand guidelines
The Super Ball brand.
For sponsors, printers, venues and anyone making something for The Super Ball. Use these files and these rules, and the night looks the same everywhere it appears.
The name is always written The Super Ball, two words.
Using our logo
Three styles. Three colors.
Never retype, redraw or rebuild the logo. Pick the style that fits the space, the color that fits the background, and download the file you need.
Stacked
The main logo. Use it first: invitations, posters, programs, social posts, signage and the event page.
Horizontal
For wide, short spaces where the main logo doesn't fit: banners, email headers, website headers, step-and-repeat walls and stage screens.
Icon
For small spaces where the name would be too small to read: social profile pictures, foil seals, table numbers and napkins. It belongs to The Super Ball only, never to the foundation or the academy.
PNG: see-through background. JPG: a 3000 px square with the background built in. PDF: vector, for print, any size. The Illustrator (.ai) originals are in the zip.
The one thing to know
Let the background pick the color.
The inside of the badge is open. On white or light colors, use Full Color. On black or a dark photo, use Inverse. Printing one color or gold foil, use Gold Foil. Never recolor the logo yourself.
Space and size
Give it room.
Keep empty space around the logo at least as tall as the word “The” at its top. Nothing goes inside it: no text, no images, no edge of the page.
- Stacked, smallest
- 1.5 in (38 mm) wide in print · 250 px on screen
- Horizontal, smallest
- 2.5 in (64 mm) wide in print · 400 px on screen
- Icon, smallest
- 0.375 in (10 mm) wide in print · 48 px on screen
Logo misuse
The logo should always look the same.
Don't change it, add to it or rearrange it.
Do not apply a gradient to the logo.
Do not change the logo's colors outside of the brand palette.
Do not rotate or tilt the logo.
Do not distort or stretch the logo in any way.
Do not remove or reposition any part of the logo.
Do not put the Inverse logo on white. On light backgrounds, use Full Color.
Colors
Gold, black and white.
Black and gold keep the night black tie; white gives it room. Tap a code to copy it.
The logo's gold lines and lettering. Gold foil in print.
The main background, and the lettering in the Full Color logo.
The lettering in the Inverse logo.
Fonts
Two voices. That's all.
The lettering inside the logo is built in, so no font is needed to use it. Everything around it uses Pro Vision Academy's brand fonts. Where they can't be used (email, Google Docs, Word), use Arial.
